Kaylin Hope - 6 months old

Our sweet baby girl was 6 months old on October 11th.  She is such a delightful and easy baby.  She's been eating baby food for about a month and is now taking 6 oz. of formula at each feeding.  She smiles at anyone who talks to her and rarely cries unless she's hungry.  She is still sleeping all night (from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.).  At her 6 month checkup she weighed 13 lbs., 6 ozs.  She is only in the 10th percentile for weight but the doctor didn't seem too concerned because she looks healthy and she eats great.

Kaylin Hope - 5 months

Our baby girl is 5 months old!  She is the happiest baby and has the most beautiful smile.  She is starting to talk so much.  She loves playing under her jungle gym and sitting in the bumbo.  We tried her in the exersaucer over the weekend and she enjoyed playing in it.  She started eating cereal several weeks ago and I tried feeding her carrots recently and she loved them.  Charlie loves talking to her and playing with her and has gotten to be very sweet around her which is a big change from 4 months ago!  She stayed in the nursery at church for the first time this week and did really good.  She is still sleeping all night and we just swapped over to formula this week.  This girl loves to eat!

Granny's 82nd Birthday Party

Charlie's First Day of School

Charlie started the 2 year old class last week.  He was super excited about going and loves Ms. Rachel.  He can't wait to get in the car every afternoon to show me what he learned that day.  Our little man is growing up!!

Charlie - 2 1/2 Years Old

Charlie was 2 1/2 years old on the 20th.  I can't believe how fast he is growing up.  It seems like we can actually have a real conversation with him now and his speech gets better every day.  He is pretty much officially potty trained (99.5%) and is doing so well with it.  We have occasional accidents but they are to be expected.  He started "class" recently and he is loving it.  He is in Ms. Rachel's 2 year old class and he is enjoying it so much.  He comes home everyday telling me what color he learned that day and showing off his latest creation.  He is also still loving sunday school and looks forward to it all week.  He asks quite often what day he can go to sunday school with meme.  He is starting to listen really well and his temper tantrums and whining have gotten so much better.  He has OCD to the extreme and everything has to be done in a certain order according to him.  He will notice anything if it is not the way it should be.  He has a great personality and loves to be silly and make people laugh!  He enjoys going on the boat, he's always asking to go to the beach and look for crabs, and loves riding his tractor.
