Two Years Old - Already!!

We can't believe our little man is already two years old!  His party is next weekend but we went ahead and had family over for cake last night on his actual birthday.  By the way, he helped make the cake so it looks a little rough but it did taste really good.  It's amazing to see how much he's grown in the past year!  He has a new-found love of singing and usually doesn't stop until he finally sings himself to sleep.  He sang happy birthday to himself all day yesterday and went around at church telling everyone "I'm two!".  It just so happens that he also sat in "big" church yesterday for the first time since he was about 3 months old and he actually did surprisingly well.  He is now sleeping in his big boy bed for most of the night and usually joins us in our room around 4:00 a.m. each morning.  I know it will take time for him to adjust so we're not pushing the issue.  Plus, he's not going to be this age forever so we're soaking up all the cuddle time we can get with him now. Below are some pictures from this past weekend, including one after we left his first mardi gras parade of the season.  It was right up his alley because he hates messes so he was constantly picking up everything in sight and making himself a big pile.  Also, excuse my singing in the video because he only knows certain parts so I have to sing the majority of it.

Enjoying the great weather

Completely exhausted after the mardi gras parade!

Cleaning up after baking his birthday cake!

This is what happens when he gets to pick out his own clothes....

24 Weeks - Kaylin Hope

Our 24 week appointment was Monday, February 7th.  The doctor said that Kaylin looks good and is measuring a week ahead (25).  He said I'm retaining some fluid but he'll check me again when I go next month.  I've had bronchitis for the past 10 days and he gave me some medicine that made it disappear almost overnight...praise the lord!  We've slowly started working on Kaylin's room and I got her bedding ordered this week.  I'm starting to get really excited about all this girl stuff!
